WELCOME to your piece of Paradise - What to expect from Self Indulgence spa
Start the session, your massage therapist will take you to a peaceful, spa-like treatment room where a comfortable massage table dressed with a warming blanket and clean sheets awaits. A small shelf for your personal belongings is also provided for your use. Your massage therapist will leave the room and wait outside while you undress to your level of comfort. (You can take shower before and after the massage session and this will not be counted toward your session)The massage etiquette varies for clients. Some clients prefer to completely disrobe, while some will remain partially clothed. Either option is fine. Once disrobed, you will lie on the massage table, under the top sheet. Your massage therapist will give you a few minutes for this process and will knock on the door to ask if you are ready before entering your room.
You will always be draped with the top sheet during your massage session. Your massage therapist will only uncover the part of the body that they are working on, ensuring that your modesty is respected at all times.
You can expect a tranquil and comfortable environment during your massage. The massage table is padded and a heating blanket is placed beneath the sheet, which you can ask your therapist to have it adjusted to your preference.Our skillful therapists can perform all modalities of massage. Please don't hesitate to consult with us to see which one is the best for you.
MASSAGE APPOINTMENTS
24-hour advance notice is required when cancelling a massage appointment. This allows the opportunity for other clients to schedule an appointment. Couple massage session is recommended that you make an appointment upfront,
a major credit card or gift voucher number is required to hold your appointment. You will not be charged until massage services are rendered, unless you fail to cancel within 24 hours and/or no-show on your appointment.If you have agreed and paid to get massage and change your mind later or your are acting in the way that disrespect or do great harm to those in our profession. You will be fully charge for that session. Please prepare cash for the gratuity.
Massage at home
These rates are for locations within a 5 mile radius from the spa. Our service area is limited to a 10 miles radius (for appointments in the 5 to 10 mile distance range, a $20 surcharge applies).
I can come to you with everything we'll need - fresh linens, a massage table, music, and a selection of oils and lotions.

Thai Massage
Our Thai Massage is practiced as recommended by the Ministry of Health of Thailand. We usethumbs, hands, and feet ​to provide pressure along meridian lines to stimulate the movement of energy in the body. Stretching yoga-like poses free muscular and joint tension. Designed to be both relaxing and stimulating, Thai massage improves flexibility, reduces tension, stimulates internal organs, and balances the body’s energy system. We always take care not to 'overdo' muscle and ligament stimulation. Please make sure you tell the therapists if you have any previous injuries or histories of medical treatment before session starts.

Combination Massage
This is the most popular massage session at Self Indulgence Spa. It combines Thai massage with your choice of either deep tissue or Swedish massage. You may choose how much of your session time is spent on each type. We usually start with the more intense pressure and stretching, followed by a slower rhythm that will leave you blissfuilly relaxed.

Swedish Massage
​The five basic movements from Pehr Henrik Ling (1776-1839) are designed to increase circulation and to remove toxins from muscles. We use firm but gentle pressure, aided by oil or lotion (whichever you prefer) to compress and relax the muscles. We also create the stroke that combine lymphatic drainage massage movement to help the release of toxins out of the body. It is recommended to drink a lot of water after these sessions.

Deep Tissue Massage
​The long, deep strokes feel both intense and relaxing at the same time. Our extensive professional experience ensures that you will get the most out of each session. The focus is on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, muscle tension or injuries or any adhesion muscles, tendons and ligaments. We customize the deep tissue massage style to each client's specific needs and preferences.​

Prenatal Massage
Our state certified massage therapists will support mothers and their unborn children throughout the term using various massage modalities to customize the massage for each individual. These treatments will benefit both mind and body. Pregnancy massage will help ease muscle discomfort and cramping, while increasing circulation.

Hot Stone Massage
The Hot stone massage uses a combination of warmed stones and our own massage techniques to relax tense muscles. The heat of the stones penetrates the skin to promote better blood flow, release toxins and create deeper muscle relaxation than a standard massage. At the same time, the therapist will target acupressure points - locations on the body which encourage the flow of energy and promote the body's own healing process. We customize the treatment to each client's specific needs and preferences.
